Sansan is the official customer relationship management service used by Marubeni Corporation, now available at MAC. Expats can benefit from seamlessly transitioning data between MAC and Marubeni Corporation, but any employee can contact Helpdesk@marubeni.com to sign up.

NYK has a scanner in the SYPL area. Please do not use the scanner in the POFC area, which is exclusively for executives under a separate Marubeni Tokyo contract.
Costs
1300JPY per user account per month allocated directly to MAC department
30JPY per any scan beyond max scan count* allocated directly to MAC department
*All users can safely scan up to 35 cards per month without additional charge. For 36 and beyond, please contact Helpdesk@marubeni.com first to confirm current free scan availability.
*Executives are under a separate Sansan contract held by Marubeni Tokyo and the above may not apply.
FAQ
can we get a sansan scanner?
For NYK, please use the one by the SYPL area (not the POFC area). For anywhere else, it is 10000JPY per scanner per month, with an initial shipment charge of 30000JPY. We recommend starting with the mobile app only.
I want to scan more than 35 cards this month.
Please contact Helpdesk@marubeni.com. Total free scans are pooled within the contract, so if another account is not planning to scan 35, you can use the available scan count instead. The person scanning is responsible for adjusting with other account holders so that the end-of-month scan count does not exceed the contract maximum.
I use the free version called eight.
You can migrate all Eight data to Sansan. However, each individual migration counts towards your 35 monthly available scans.

I am leaving MAC and want to take my data with me.
For expats transferring to another location with Sansan, Helpdesk will be asking you when you would like your account transferred. No other work is necessary. For any other situation, please contact Helpdesk with GM approval to get permission to export to csv.
