Microsoft Teams is a chat-based workspace used for internal meeting, chat, and voice call (available on both VDI & company provided/BYOD smartphone/tablet).

[BYOD]
To setup company apps such as Microsoft Teams, BOX, Outlook, etc. on your personal smartphone/tablet, please submit BYOD request from below E-Procurement link.

(For BA/BU/Branch who currently uses MFP to send/receive FAX)
In case FAX capability is necessary during BCP, open an eFax service to send and receive faxes by Email or online.

*Your mobile phone billing plan must include the tethering option (tethering may increase your bill)

[Print to PDF]
Windows 10 supports Print to PDF.
To ensure the PDF file to be text-recognizable (OCR), please use one of below option when printing to PDF.
When printing Web page to PDF
If you are using Google Chrome, use “Save as PDF” function.
Press Ctrl+P to open the Print dialog
Change the destination printer to “Save as PDF.” and hit the Print button
You will be prompted to select the location where you want save the output PDF, click Save after you selected the destination.
The web page will be download as a PDF document.
If you are using Microsoft Edge, use Microsoft Print to PDF function.
Press Ctrl+P to open the Print dialog.
Select “Microsoft Print to PDF” in “Select Printer” section, and hit the Print button.
You will be prompted to select the location where you want save the output PDF, click Save after you selected the destination.
The web page will be download as a PDF document
To print from any other application to PDF, simply select “Microsoft Print to PDF” as destination printer, then print it.
Some documents such as contracts may require signature on physical paper. Please consult with respective BA team for such requirements.
*Local printer that is connected to PC by USB cable is supported for VDI.
[Merge and split PDF files]
If you don’t have paid version of Adobe Acrobat software, but would like to merge or split PDF files, Please use the the free tool called PDFSAM Basic. This software let you merge/split PDF files in various ways, and is best for someone who only need to merge/split PDF files.
Look for a shortcut below in your Desktop.

Scanning documents:
Mobile Scan (Office Lens) - Office Lens User Guide
If your home scanner supports mobile scan, you may be able to receive scanned file to your smartphone/tablet (company provided/BYOD). Scanned files can be uploaded to BOX by using BOX for EMM app.
*Please check with your scanner’s maker support to find out if your scanner supports mobile scan.
Using external monitor(s) at home:
If you’re setting up external monitor for home PC,
-Check which output port is available on your PC, then purchase monitor(cable) based on ports availability. For those using company laptop, it has HDMI and USB-C port available for external monitor.

Troubleshooting slow home Internet:
Power cycle your router, modem and computer.
Reposition your router - move your router closer to your PC and see if that provides stronger WiFi signal.
If possible, try to use a wired connection. Wired connection usually provides a better/more stable Internet connection. Connect your computer to the router using an Ethernet cable.
If nothing else works, try to contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) to find out if the problem is on their side, or if they have any other suggestions.
