LOST or STOLEN Device

If your device (iPhone or iPad) is lost or stolen, 

Do not panic, take a deep breath and do the following.

 

 

1Wipe Company Data Immediately

This is the most important action you have to make as soon as you find your device is missing.   Once device battery ran out, it will not be able to execute remote wipe,   So you have to do it NOW in order to protect company and customer data.   You can wipe your device remotely by your self with  easy steps as below.  

1) Go to Intune Company Portal on your device (iPhone or iPad)

2) Tap Device->Select Device->Tap ... and Select “Remove Device”

3) Only Company Data will be removed, other data (App, photos) remain on the device.

2. Locate your Device

You can locate your missing device by yourself.  

 

3. Contact Necessary Party (Lost& Found, Police, Airport, Taxi Company, Business, etc.)

If you need device serial # for the Police Report, contact Wireless Device Team.

4. Fill out  Lost/Stolen report and submit to your GM (Information Manager)

The report will be submitted to CFAO and  SYPLGM.   Without this report SYPL is not able to order replacement for you.
